Dr.
Susan Marell is Professor of Psychology and Past Chair of the Division
of Social Sciences. Prior to coming to St. Thomas Aquinas College,
Dr. Marell served as Statistical and Research Consultant at New York University
and as Senior Psychometrician in the Department of Psychiatry at Hillside
Hospital, a division of LIJ Medical Center.
Dr. Marell
holds a BS (Summa cum Laude) from Brooklyn College where she was elected
to Phi Beta Kappa. In addition she holds the M.A. and Ph.D. degrees
from New York University, where she specialized in developmental psychology
and statistics and was both a Teaching Assistant and Instructor.
Dr. Marell's
teaching interests encompass Statistics, Social Psychology, and the Psychology
of Women. In addition to her teaching duties, Dr. Marell is currently
Director of the Honors Program at St. Thomas Aquinas College.
