Dr.
Walter J. Schneider is Professor of Psychology and Vice-President and
Dean of Student Affairs. Dr. Schneider holds the B.S. degree in
Physiological Psychology from Tulane University and the M.A. and Ph.D.
degrees in Clinical Psychology from St. John's University.
Dr. Schneider
previously served as Counselor and then Director of Counseling and Psychological
Services at the College. In addition, he has been a Consultant at
Rockland State Psychiatric Center and a Consulting Psychologist for the
New York City Health Department at Riker's Island Prison.
Dr. Schneider's
teaching interests focus on physiological psychology as well as deviant
and abnormal psychology.
