Master of Science in Teaching

Helping you become a teacher is a specialty in the School of Education at St. Thomas Aquinas College. Designed for career changers or graduates that have earned their degrees in areas other than education, the MST program is offered in several content areas and can be completed in 16 months.

At admission, candidates receive a curriculum sheet indicating the courses required to complete the MST degree. Candidates are assigned an advisor who is a member of the graduate teacher education faculty. Candidates meet with advisors on a regular basis to verify their good standing in the program and for advice regarding registration and certification examinations.

For the convenience of our graduate candidates, the School of Education offers most of its MST classes in late afternoon and evening.
