Dr. Wynne is an Associate Professor of Biochemistry at St. Thomas Aquinas College. He teaches undergraduate courses in Biochemistry, Genetics, Neurobiology, and Nutrition. Dr. Wynne received his B.A. in Biochemistry/Chemistry, with high honors, from East Stroudsburg University and his Ph.D. from Lehigh University. After obtaining his Ph.D., Dr. Wynne was hired as a Post-Doctoral researcher at the University of Rochester before arriving at St. Thomas Aquinas College in 2008. Dr. Wynne has over 10 years of experience performing research in the field of neurobiology. He has published in such journals as Nature Protocols, Journal of Neurochemistry, Journal of Neurobiology and Glia.
Dr. Wynne took over as Honors Program Director in 2014. Since then, he has tried to establish a sense of community among his students and the college at large. When he is not busy training students how to do hypothesis driven research, he typically can be found playing with his two children or reading a good Michael Crichton novel.
