Dear Students:

Thank you for your interest in majoring in the Division of Business Administration at St. Thomas Aquinas College. If current trends continue you may experience a variety of different careers in diverse areas over your lifetime. What a great opportunity for you! Your studies in the Division of Business Administration will help prepare you for these opportunities not only in the business world, but in a variety of other professions and as preparation for graduate school.

St. Thomas Aquinas College has received specialized accreditation for its business programs through the International Assembly for Collegiate Business Education (IACBE), located in Olathe, Kansas, www.IACBE.org . The business programs in the following degrees are accredited by the IACBE:

  • Bachelor of Science Degrees in Accounting, 4 year program, and Business Administration with majors in Business Administration, Finance and Marketing.
  •  Master Degree of Business Administration with concentrations in Finance, Management, Marketing and General MBA.

IACBE is known internationally and our graduates who pursue careers anywhere around the globe will benefit from this accreditation.

We will work with you to develop general and professional skills as an accounting, business administration, finance or marketing major. You also have the option to study international business, management information systems, economics, or human resource management as part of a minor or specialization.

Faculty mentors can help you through independent study, or with internships and cooperative learning projects.

If you’re considering a career in accounting, we have a registered 150 credit Bachelor of Science in Accounting/ Master of Business Administration degree program that offers you a MBA and qualifies you to sit for the New York State Certified Public Accountants Examination.

We also can customize your major to take advantage of our Master of Business Administration degree with concentrations in finance, management, marketing and a general degree without a specific concentration.
