Academic Programs in the Arts
The Art Program at St. Thomas Aquinas offers a studio-based curriculum within the strong academic foundation of the liberal arts institution.
We offer four Bachelor of Arts Degrees in Fine Art, Graphic Design, Art Education and Art Therapy all taught by faculty committed to establishing student-centered learning environments. Students are challenged to engage the mind, train the eye and develop skills necessary to realize creative potential while recognizing the social roles of each discipline. The faculty is comprised of artists, educators, designers and therapists who all working professionals are maintaining their own practice so as to provide students with both academic and real world expertise.
All students complete a series of foundations courses in the visual arts preparing them for further study in Fine Art, Graphic Design or Art Therapy. All programs offer internships so students gain real world working experiences.
