At St. Thomas Aquinas College, students can major in Communication Arts with a specialization in Journalism or in a general course of study in Communication Arts. Both majors are designed to offer students both a theoretical as well as a practical mix of course work, and both majors prepare students for work in business and broadcasting as well as for graduate study.
All Communication Arts majors are able to take courses in five areas of communication:speech, journalism, film, video and radio. Exciting internship opportunities are available to majors in their junior or senior years with professional broadcasting companies, public relations firms, newspapers, and magazines. Being located within 20 miles of the Number One broadcasting market in the world offers Communication Arts majors exceptional opportunities to work with the best in the business. |
