MBA Online Courses
The STAC Online MBA Program is designed to provide professionals like you with the ability to obtain a masters degree in business no matter where you live. The structure of the Online MBA courses allows students to plan their course load around their work, so that their education does not interrupt their employment.
How Online Master of Business Adminitration Degree Courses Work
MBA courses are offered through a distance-learning program (Blackboard Learning System). Each student is assigned a log-on and a password that allows them to access the course content. Through the use of this instructional technology, students use e-mail, online discussion boards, and private chat rooms to interact with professors and classmates.
Following the format of a virtual classroom, all coursework is completed and submitted online. Students will participate in online lectures and discussion groups utilizing the tools in the Blackboard Learning System. Tests and quizzes are taken and submitted online. Group work is completed through online forums.
Consistent with traditional coursework students will be expected to prepare weekly assignments including text readings and other materials. Professors may post discussion topics throughout the course with a weekly response requirement. A course syllabus will be distributed in the beginning of the course outlining coursework, textbook requirements and course schedule.
There is no difference in course work between the Online MBA courses and those in the classroom except for the method of delivery. The STAC Online MBA program follows the same course schedule and content is taught by the same faculty as our traditional MBA.
