Program
Requirements
The
MBA Curriculum requires the completion of a minimum
of 33 and a maximum of 57 credit hours. At least
33 of the credits must be taken on the graduate
level at Saint Thomas Aquinas College. The 57
credits are grouped as follows:
A.
Common Professional Component (Core) 9-33 credits
B.
Upper Level Courses includes global requirement
15 credits
C.
Business Communications Course 3 credits
D.
Capstone Courses 6 credits
Common
Professional Core: These courses cover
fundamental managerial and analytical skills.
A maximum of 24 credit hours may be waived based
upon a students previous undergraduate work.
Upper
Level Courses: Students may pursue
a general program of study tailored to their individual
needs or concentrate in finance, management, or
marketing. To concentrate in a single area, at
least four of the five upper level courses must
be chosen from that area.
Business
Communications Course: This course
teaches students to produce effective and ethical
communications. It is required of all students
and should be taken within the first 12 credits
of the program.
Capstone
Courses: Generally, students should
complete the capstone courses as the last 6 credits
of their program.
