The mathematics major at St. Thomas Aquinas College provides students with the opportunity to develop objective reasoning, precise thinking, and an appreciation of the contribution of mathematics to society. The logical solution of problems in this discipline fosters attitudes needed by all educated adults. A grade of “C” or better is required in Calculus I and II in order to gain admittance into upper level courses in mathematics.
