The
Natural Sciences major offered at St. Thomas Aquinas
College is designed to meet the academic needs
of students who are preparing for graduate study,
professional schools, careers in laboratory research,
the allied health sciences or education. Students
who are completing a degree in Natural Sciences
must maintain a grade point average of 2.0 or
higher in the core courses. A grade of C or higher
is required in general biology, general chemistry
and general physics in order to obtain admittance
into upper level courses.

In addition, students in this degree program need
to take 6 credits in astronomy, 6-8 credits in
upper level science, 6 credits in upper-level
mathematics courses and 3-4 credits in upper-level
science/mathematics courses.
