(SPARKILL,
NY - July 12, 2006) - - St. Thomas Aquinas College
will host an information session for individuals
interested in the College's Master of Business
Administration (MBA) degree program on Saturday,
July 29 at 10 a.m. on the College's main campus
in Sparkill. For reservations or information,
contact the MBA office of St. Thomas Aquinas at
398-4109.
St. Thomas' MBA classes are offered on either
Friday evening, Saturday morning, or Sunday morning
- each class meeting for nine sessions. The program
provides students with the option of choosing
among Finance, Marketing, Management or a self
designed concentration. Students with prior undergraduate
or graduate work can have up to 24 credits waived.
Full-time students can complete the remaining
33 of 57 credits in one year, but the majority
of the students are working professionals who
pursue an MBA part-time.
"We
pride ourselves on serving the needs of the full-time
professional who wishes to continue his or her
education on a part-time basis. The weekend program
is ideal for individuals with business and travel
commitments that prevent them from making a class
during the traditional workweek," said Mr.
Alan Colsey, Director of the MBA program.
Each quarter, up to nine new classes are offered
for students to select from and new students may
begin the program at the start of any quarterly
session.
