ST. THOMAS AQUINAS COLLEGE TO HOST
CONSTITUTION DAY CELEBRATION
 

(SPARKILL, NY - September 11, 2006) - St. Thomas Aquinas College will host a Constitution Day Celebration on Monday, September 18 from 4-5 p.m. in the Lougheed Library. The celebration marks the second annual program at St. Thomas and is open to the entire College community and the public.
The program will include a matching game, Something About the Signers, conducted by Dr. John Durney, Provost and Vice-President for Academic Affairs. A guest lecture, "The Men Who Wrote the Constitution", will be given by Dr. Robert Schelin, Professor of Social Sciences at the College. Dr. Schelin's area of expertise is American History, specifically the nation's formative period and American presidency.
The Lougheed Library will be displaying their holdings that are related to the Constitution. Mary Anne Lenk, Director of Library Services, will offer enlightenment on the Library display. The program will conclude with a question and discussion session.
