 ALCOHOL AND SUBSTANCE ABUSE COUNSELING SPECIALIZATION
There is a devastating increase in the number of people with alcohol and drug dependency each year. Substance abuse counselors provide therapy and treatment to help people suffering various addictions. Students will learn how to apply counseling principles in the area of substance abuse and be able to identify and promote various strategies for prevention and communicate those individually or to groups.
