Rev. Alan Arneaud ‘03
B.A., Philosophy and Religious Studies
Reverend Arneaud is a priest in the Diocese Rockville Center (NY).  As an international student from Trinidad and Tobago he was ordained to the priesthood in July 2008. He now holds a Master of Divinity and Master of Arts in Theology.

Paul Borghese ‘82
B.S., Social Sciences
Paul is an actor/filmmaker and the owner of Tappan Films, a production office that identifies locations for local filmmakers in addition to their own production work. He’s held guest roles on Law and Order, The Sopranos and Third Watch and has appeared in several independent films.

Kelly L. Campbell ‘01
B.S., Graphic Design
Kelly is President and Creative Director of Liqui-Site Designs, Inc., a NY-based brand marketing firm she founded in 2003, specializing in print marketing and website development, SEO and social media. She founded TheHolisticOption.com in 2008, which was acquired by Wellness Possibilities in 2010, where she currently serves as VP of Web Marketing. Kelly is also a visual artist, having studied Advanced Painting through School of Visual Arts (NYC) in Barcelona, Spain. 

Jonathan F. Clark ‘04
B.A., Communication Arts
Jonathan is the assistant news director of WCBS NewsRadio 880 in New York and previous morning drive producer. Jonathan started at WCBS as an intern during his senior year. After graduating he spent time in several positions throughout the newsroom including desk assistant, Yankees production assistant, tape op and writer. He began producing midday a year after graduation and then was moved to afternoon drives.  It was there he worked the desk for award winning events such as the Manhattan steam pipe explosion, Flight 1549 in the Hudson and the 2009 Yankee Parade. As a student, Jonathan was station manager for the campus radio WSTK, he now serves on the College’s communication arts advisory panel and acts as a guest speaker for CA majors.

Barbara Corcoran ‘71
B.A., English
Barbara is the real estate contributor to NBC’s TODAY Show where she comments weekly on trends in the real estate market. Barbara is also an investor/shark on ABC’s reality show Shark Tank. She is the founder, and former chairman and chief executive officer of The Corcoran Group, which, prior to its sale, was Manhattan’s largest privately owned real estate firm.

Edward Costa, D.P.M. ‘03
B.S., Biology
Edward is the Chief Resident of the Podiatric Surgical Residency at Montefiore North in the Bronx, NY.  During his time at the College his professors guided him towards the dual degree program in Podiatric Medicine. This program combines three years at the undergraduate level and four years with The New York College of Podiatric Medicine.

Stephanie DePalma ‘97
B.S., Therapeutic Recreation
Stephanie serves as Associate Executive Director of LIAF- Long Island Alzheimer’s Foundation. She has worked in highly acclaimed hospitals and long term care facilities exercising her therapeutic recreational abilities and is a member of the American Therapeutic Recreation Association and will soon earn her certification as a Dementia Practitioner.

Kevin P. Duignan ‘75/’07
B.S., History, M.B.A.
Kevin serves as Vice President of Institutional Advancement at the College. He returned to the College in 1997 as Director of Development and Alumni Affairs. He helped to establish an institutional advancement program that has seen record giving levels to the College's annual fund and to the annual benefit golf tournament. He also established the annual Alumni Hall of Fame. and Reunion Dinner that honors outstanding alumni who have distinguished themselves in their careers and in service to society.

Dr. Mary Ann Hatala ‘80
B.S., Natural Sciences
Dr. Hatala is the Senior Team Leader at Instrumental Laboratory in Orangeburg, NY.  There she manages a product line of reagents used with diagnostic instruments.  Her outstanding accomplishments in the Science of Pharmacology, and dedication to the community earned her induction into the College’s Alumni Hall of Fame.

Hon. Gordon M. Johnson ‘82
B.S., Social Science/Criminal Justice
Hon. Johnson has been a member of the New Jersey State General Assembly-37th Legislative District since 2004, with assignments as Chair of the Law and Public Safety Committee and as a member of the Budget and Homeland Security and State Preparedness Committees. He is also a member of the Alumni Hall of Fame.

Danielle G. Jordan ‘95

B.A., Communication Art
Danielle is the host of The Greater Pocono Business Magazine TV Show on Blue Ridge Communications TV 13 in Lehigh Valley (PA). The show is a fast-paced, magazine-style format featuring business and economic news for the Pocono Mountains.

Jessica Liss ‘08
B.A. Communication Arts
Jessica is the Marketing Coordinator at Lifetime TV, working primarily with the consumer, on-air and production teams. Prior, to joining Lifetime, she served as Program Director at Fran Drescher’s non-profit organization Cancer Schmancer where she managed program development, web content, social media and fundraising/partnership proposals. As a student, Jessica was President of the Spartan Volunteers and Editor-in-Chief of the College newspaper, The Thoma. She also served as an intern in the College’s Office of Enrollment Marketing & Campus Communications.

Krista L. Maselli, D.C. ‘03
B.S., Biology
Dr. Maselli is a Chiropractor for Fisher Family Chiropractic in Nevada.  While at STAC, she participated in the dual degree affiliation with New York Chiropractic College. She received her Doctor of Chiropractic from New York Chiropractic College in 2005.

Karen Gale (O’Reilly) Medic, Esq ‘99
B.S., Social Sciences/Pre-Law
Karen has her own law practice in New York City. She is a member of both the New York State & United States Supreme Court Bar Associations. While at STAC, she was a member of the Honors Program and studied abroad at Oxford University’s Christ Church College.

Deborah O’ Connell-McManus, Ed.D. ‘85
B.S., Natural Sciences
Dr. O’ Connell-McManus is an Assistant Superintendent of Clarkstown Central School District in Rockland County. A published writer, she has received several awards detailing her dedication to teaching and is a member of the College’s Alumni Hall of Fame.

Kevin Ottachian ‘07
B.S., Social Sciences, 7-12 certification
Kevin is a teacher at his alma mater, Warwick Valley High School. He continues to serve the College community as a member of STAC’s alumni board of directors and advisor of the intramural bowling team.
 
Frank P. Pesale ‘06

B.S., Therapeutic Recreation
Frank is a doctoral candidate in clinical psychology at Adelphi University. While at STAC, he was a member of the Men's NCAA Division II baseball team and an honors student, giving him the opportunity to study abroad at Oxford University.  In his graduate studies, he is conducting research on psychotherapy process and treatment outcome. He has also worked as an Activities Therapist at South Oaks Hospital, an acute care psychiatric hospital, for the past 4 years.
Alumni in Social Sciences

Jean Santora ‘77
B.S., Social Science
Jean currently serves as President of the St. Thomas Aquinas College Alumni Association and is also a member of the President’s Council.  After graduating from STAC, Jean happily taught junior high students for six years and then decided a career change to the business world.  Jean now holds a position at Verizon Communication as Senior Product Manager in Verizon’s Wholesale Markets’ Line of Business.  She was inducted to the Alumni Hall of Fame in 2006.

Catherine (Costello) Skae, M.D. ‘85

B.S., Psychology
Dr. Costello Skae is the Project Director at The Children’s Hospital at Montefiore Pain Service (CHAMPS). She began as an intern in 1997. As project director at (CHAMPS) she works with children with acute pain and chronic syndrome. She is also a member of the Alumni Hall of Fame.

Brendan Stewart ‘86
B.A., Communication Arts
Brendan is currently the Senior Web Specialist for Advanstar Communications with over twenty-two years of professional experience as an typographer, editor, desktop publisher, website produce HTML developer, and bulk e-mail manager for an extensive range of products ranging from college textbooks to healthcare magazines. As a student he was station co-manager for the campus radio WARP as well as editor of the school newspaper.

Joanna (Dionisio) Tower ‘05

B.A., Communication Arts
Joanna is a producer and on-air talent for Optimum Local. During her senior year, Joanna started her career at MSNBC in the acquisitions department. While at MSNBC, Joanna broadened her knowledge of news production, working with a wide range of talent and technicians on various projects.  After leaving MSNBC, Joanna began her career with Optimum Local, where she was called upon to work as a Producer/Host for the Northern New Jersey Programming Area. She currently co-hosts "Neighborhood Journal" and produces "Meet The Leaders." Joanna received a Telly Award for her coverage of a Veterans Special on The Battleship New Jersey.  As a student, Joanna served as president for the College’s chapter of the National Broadcasting Society.

Peter J. Unanue ‘90
B.S., Mathematics/Engineering
Peter is the Executive Vice President of Distribution and Logistics at Goya Foods, Inc where he oversees operations for Goya’s distribution centers throughout the US. He joined Goya in 1997 as Director of Distribution. Under his leadership, Goya implemented an automated routing system for customer deliveries at all distribution centers. He is also a member of the Alumni Hall of Fame.
