PURE MATHEMATICS
A major in math is so much more than just numbers! Studying mathematics provides a student the opportunity to develop objective reasoning, precise thinking, and an appreciation of the contribution of mathematics to society. The logical solution of problems in this discipline fosters attitudes needed by all educated adults. The various skills that you perfect in a math class helps you to be prepared to transform those skills into analytical skills you will be able to incorporate into your daily life.

Our students learn about the modern trends in mathematics after establishing a strong fundamental understanding of how mathematics has evolved. This foundation is cultivated in classes such as Calculus, Differential Equations, Linear Algebra, and Discrete Mathematics.
