St. Thomas Aquinas College has received specialized accreditation for its business programs through the International Assembly for Collegiate Business Education (IACBE), located in Olathe, Kansas, www.IACBE.org. The business programs in the following degrees are accredited by the IACBE:
- Bachelor of Science Degrees in Accounting, 4 year program, and Business Administration with majors in Business Administration, Finance and Marketing.
- Master Degree of Business Administration with concentrations in Finance, Management, Marketing and General MBA.
IACBE is known internationally and our graduates who pursue careers anywhere around the globe will benefit from this accreditation.
We will work with you to develop general and professional skills as an accounting, business administration, finance or marketing major. You also have the option to study international business, management information systems, economics, or human resource management as part of a minor or specialization. Faculty mentors can help you through independent study, or with internships and cooperative learning projects.
If you’re considering a career in accounting, we have a registered 150 credit Bachelor of Science in Accounting/ Master of Business Administration degree program that offers you a MBA and qualifies you to sit for the New York State Certified Public Accountants Examination.
We also can customize your major to take advantage of our Master of Business Administration degree with concentrations in finance, management, marketing and a general degree without a specific concentration.
Our Mission
The School of Business offers a program of study leading to the degree of Bachelor of Science. The purpose of the business administration curriculum is to prepare students for entrance into the business world, government, the professions and graduate work. They will develop general and professional skills as they take core courses and a major specialization. There are opportunities for research, cooperative learning, independent study and internships.
