BUSINESS ADMINISTRATION MINOR for Non Business Administration Majors
Students who choose to partake in the study of business administration as a minor will be taught the basic concepts and essential topics needed to understand and participate in the field of business.
ECONOMICS
Choosing to minor in economics will give students an insight into the principles and its natural function in society, as well as an understanding in the role it plays in markets.
HUMAN RESOURCE MANAGEMENT
Students will have the opportunity to learn the fundamentals of Human Resource Management, noting the importance of the organization’s use of resources and it overall effectiveness and efficiency.
INTERNATIONAL BUSINESS
Interested in the global economy? STAC offers international business as a minor in which students are able to apply basic concepts, theories, policies, and practices to support the functional and strategic structure of business conducted overseas.
MANAGEMENT INFORMATION SYSTEMS.
The minor is designed for students who are interested in computer based information systems and how they are applied in the field of business. The minor will enhance students career options and increase their ability to analyze, design, and manage business processes associated with their profession.
MARKETING
A minor in marketing will provide students with a broad understanding of marketing concepts, and the application of marketing theories to a variety of business situations. Students will have the opportunity to study marketing applications in a variety of areas including: social media, consumer behavior, advertising, brand management, sales and marketing research.
