Vin Crapanzano
Vice President, Enrollment Management & Campus Communications

Mr. Vincent Crapanzano is Vice President for Enrollment Management and Campus Communications at St. Thomas Aquinas College. As a member of the president's cabinet, he works closely with the President, Dr. Margaret M. Fitzpatrick, S.C. as well as the other vice presidents at the college.

Mr. Crapanzano came to the College community in 1985 and served as the Director of Public Information until 1987. He joined the North Rockland School District as Director of Community Relations in 1987 and served there until 1992. For 10 years he served as the Program Coordinator for the Leadership Rockland program and is an honorary alumnus. In 1993 he rejoined the college as Director of Communications and was promoted to Executive Director, Assistant to the President, and Dean for Enrollment Management and Marketing (2005).

As Vice President, he is responsible for all enrollment strategies at the undergraduate and graduate level and supervises three departments – campus communications and marketing, admissions and financial aid – and works with various departments related to enrollment including international students, the honors program and high school programs. He earned his undergraduate and graduate degrees from St. Thomas Aquinas College and represents the college at many community events.

"Mr. Crapanzano has put together a very successful team in the Enrollment and Communications areas of the College," said Dr. Fitzpatrick. “We have enjoyed consistent growth in the Enrollment area and we look forward to a continued expansion of our enrollment initiatives at the undergraduate and graduate levels."

Mr. Crapanzano earned his B.A. in Communication Arts from the College in 1984 and then his MBA in Marketing (with distinction) in 2000. He has taught Journalism and Speech Communications on the main campus as well as at the West Point campus. He is invited to speak at high school college nights; rotary club and other guest speaking activities; and he serves as spokesperson and chief media relations officer.

Mr. Crapanzano takes the lead on all marketing initiatives on behalf of the college; works closely with outside agencies to create the college's advertising messages; and has supervised the 15 people in his area for the last three years. He also works closely with the President’s cabinet on many strategic initiatives.

As Vice President for Enrollment Management and Campus Communications he combines the efforts in communications, marketing and enrollment and expand targets in enrollment. Mr. Crapanzano develops new initiatives to drive the growth and position of the college.

He has served as a volunteer in the Washingtonville community with the Hudson Valley Council Boy Scouts of America, Troop 416; the Washingtonville Ice Hockey Club; the Washingtonville Soccer Club; and several other organizations.

Mr. Crapanzano has been published in several magazines such as School Guide's College Conference Manual, Transworld Magazine, and StoneWorld Magazine, the latter as assistant editor from 1984-1985.
