A TRADITION OF CARING AND RESPECT

In 1952 the Dominican Sisters of Sparkill founded St. Thomas Aquinas College as a place where they could give individual attention to students who were preparing for teaching careers.  In the 1960s the College became coed and independent and expanded its curriculum.  Today, as a thriving liberal arts college, we offer programs that lead to degrees and careers in many contemporary fields.

We are proud of our history and heritage. At the same time, we are proud of the diversity and direction of our campus community today. Traditional Judeo-Christian values have always been important at St. Thomas Aquinas College, while the college is independent. Whatever your background or beliefs, you will fit in and feel comfortable at St. Thomas Aquinas College. You can look forward to going about the day-to-day business of college life in an atmosphere of mutual respect, understanding, concern, and cooperation.

QUALITY YOU CAN AFFORD
