To
be considered for admission to St. Thomas Aquinas
College submit an application as early as possible
during your senior year of high school. In evaluating
your application, the Admissions Committee will
review the following:
Official High School Transcript
SAT or ACT Scores
Essay should be,
Letters of Recommendation including one from your Guidance or College Counselor
Resume of Extracurricular Activities Class Rank (if reported)
As
soon as we have received your completed application,
the application will be assigned to the appropriate
counselor for review. A decision letter will be
sent in approximately two weeks. If you accept
our invitation to attend St. Thomas Aquinas College,
a non-refundable deposit must be submitted by
May 1st.
An interview at the College is recommended and
encouraged for all. Prospective students should
contact the Admissions Office at (845) 398-4100
to arrange an appointment for a campus visit.
Students whose native language is not English
must also submit their official scores from the
Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL)
taken within the last four months. The TOEFL is
not required for students who have a New York
State Regents Diploma.
HEOP
The Higher Education Opportunity Program is for
New York State residents only. Applicants should

The
Honors Program is designed to
provide a stimulating and challenging academic
program for students of superior academic ability.
Qualified students will be invited to enroll in
a series of honors courses, beginning with special
sections of freshman English and followed by courses
on particular topics, including those of an interdisciplinary
nature. Admissions to the Honors Program may qualify
eligible students for full or partial scholarships,
as well as study abroad at Oxford University.

Pathways
is a comprehensive, structured support program
serving selected St. Thomas Aquinas College students
with learning disabilities and attention deficit
disorders. A summer program is required. Interested
students must apply to both the College and Pathways
