Whatever
your interest, ability level, or need, St. Thomas Aquinas College has
programs in place to help you get the most out of your academic work.
For example,
if youre a high-achieving student, our Honors Program offers you
opportunities to do in-depth work in interdisciplinary courses especially
created to challenge you and point you toward new academic horizons. Current
Honors Program courses focus on topics ranging from "Ethical Issues
in World Economy", to "Freud on Broadway".
On the
other hand if youve sometimes struggled a bit in high school, St.
Thomas Aquinas College may be exactly the right place for you, too. Remember,
our classes are small, and the members of our faculty are exceptionally
good professors. Theyll take time to listen to your questions and
explain things, and theyll work with you to help you over the rough
spots. Like many students before you, once youve had a chance to
study in small groups --- and even one-on-one --- with people who care
about your success, you may be surprised to discover that youre
a much better student than you think you are.
You
may want to inquire about our Academic
Skills Center, our Campus Interchange
Program, Pathways(for college
students who have learning disabilities), our
Volunteer Independent Study Abroad Program
(VISA), professional internships, field
experiences, the Higher Education Opportunity
Program (HEOP), or Air Force
ROTC.
The St.
Thomas Aquinas College catalog provides information about those and other
programs designed to help you attain --- and even surpass --- your goals.
