Students looking to participate in an athletic program on a smaller scale can take advantage of the club sports program. Using on campus and local facilities, our club sports teams compete through intercollegiate play.

CHEERLEADINGShow support for our Spartans! Our cheerleading squad is a year-round performance and competition team. The squad can be seen at the Spartan and Lady Spartan basketball games and other events on campus. DANCE TEAMThe STAC dancers are a performance group that adds spirit to the Spartan basketball teams during halftime. ICE HOCKEYA club sport at the College for over 10 years, the men’s ice hockey team is a member of the American Collegiate Hockey Association (Division III) and the Metropolitan Collegiate Hockey Conference. MEN’S BASEBALLMen's Baseball is the newest of the club sports, starting in 2014. Players can compete at a lower intensity than our Division II team, but still play and practice in the same facilities. MEN'S SOCCERA feeder sport for our Division II team, players can develop skills on the field. Competing against local colleges, the club team is a perfect opportunity for those players looking to continue playing soccer without the pressure of the varsity level. WOMEN'S SOCCERAs a club sport, women’s soccer allows players to compete on a more flexible schedule. Several players join the club level and advance to the Division II sport after gaining experience. MEN’S AND WOMEN’S VOLLEYBALLA newer team in STAC club sports, co-ed volleyball is a member of USA Volleyball and the Garden Empire Volleyball Association. The team competes in local and regional competitions, tournament-style. |
