Parking Agreement

This agreement is assigned to a returning\tranfer resident student who lives in McNelis Commons for the 2008-2009 academic year. You are assigned to park your vehicle in the McNelis Commons residence complex. You are not allowed to park your vehicle in any lot on the main campus during Monday through Thursday between 8:00 a.m. and 2:30 p.m. during the academic semesters.

You agree to observe the following regulations:

STICKER DISPLAY: Four-Door Vehicle > the sticker must be displayed on the driver’s side of the car in the rear window of the back door. Two-Door Vehicle > the sticker must be displayed on the driver’s side door window toward the back.

GATE ENTRY: I understand I will have access to the McNelis Commons entrance gate. I agree to use my ID card at all times and any unauthorized use will result in the loss of privilege to park within the complex.

PARKING SPACE: Park my vehicle in a space between two white lines. There will be only one vehicle per space

SPEED LIMIT: Observe the posted speed limit on the college campus.

ONE WAY: Observe all one way signs on the campus at all times.

SNOW PROCEDURE: I understand I will need to move my vehicle to the designated area upon notification of a snow removal situation. Failure to move my vehicle will result in a minimum fine of $100.00 and face possible disciplinary sanctions.

EXTENDED ABSENCE: If I plan on leaving campus for an extended period of time (more than 24 hours), then I am responsible to have my car moved by another person in case of snow or emergency situations. I may not leave my vehicle on campus during vacation periods.

PARKING FINE: If I receive multiple parking fines from the campus security for any violation, then I am subject to have my fines doubled, face possible loss of having a vehicle on campus and campus disciplinary sanctions.

I have read the following regulations and hereby accept the agreement as stated. Please sign both copies of this agreement and return them to the Office of Residence Life. You will receive a signed copy after the Office of Residence Life authorizes the agreement and issues you a parking sticker.
