Deadline Extensions & Special Sessions
The Office of Residence Life grants extensions to resident students to stay if they can’t meet their move-out time or need to stay during break periods. These decisions are based on the following criteria: Academic, Athletic and International. If a resident student needs an exception based on the above criteria, then they must fill out exception form or special session form. All forms must be submitted 10 days in advance.
The Office of Residence Life will notify the student if they are approved to stay, which means it is only granted for the student. Roommates and friends may not stay with the student or visit during the extension or special session. Allowing roommates or friends to visit or stay may result in immediate suspension of your room and board agreement.
