MASTER OF SCIENCE IN EDUCATION
Graduate Teacher Education is a program that has long been a strong suit
at the college. St. Thomas Aquinas College offers a Master of Science
in Education in the Following areas:
- Special Education
in Childhood, Grades 1-6 (36 credits)
- Special Education
in Adolescence, Grades 7-12 (36 credits)
- Literacy Education
in Early Childhood & Childhood, Birth-Grade 6 (36credits)
- Literacy Education
Middle Childhood & Adolescence Literacy, Grades
5-12 (36 credit
ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS
- A baccalaureate
degree from an accredited undergraduate institution:
- A teaching certificate
(not required for Master of Science in Teaching Program);
- A cumulative
GPA of 3.0 or above. A Graduate Record Exam (GRE) is required for
those applicants with a GPA between 2.8 and 3.0;
- Three letters
of recommendation;

An interview with the Director of Graduate
Education.
