MASTER OF SCIENCE IN EDUCATION
Graduate Teacher Education is a program that has long been a strong suit at the college. St. Thomas Aquinas College offers a Master of Science in Education in the Following areas:

  • Special Education in Childhood, Grades 1-6 (36 credits)
  • Special Education in Adolescence, Grades 7-12 (36 credits)
  • Literacy Education in Early Childhood & Childhood, Birth-Grade 6 (36credits)
  • Literacy Education Middle Childhood & Adolescence Literacy, Grades 5-12 (36 credit

ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS

  • A baccalaureate degree from an accredited undergraduate institution:
  • A teaching certificate (not required for Master of Science in Teaching Program);
  • A cumulative GPA of 3.0 or above. A Graduate Record Exam (GRE) is required for those applicants with a GPA between 2.8 and 3.0;
  • Three letters of recommendation;
  • An interview with the Director of Graduate Education.
