St. Thomas Aquinas College’s academic programs and faculty focus on providing students with the tools and skills they’ll need to succeed in any career they choose! We are proud to offer over 100 majors, minors, specializations, and dual-degree programs in the School of Arts & Social Sciences, the School of Business, the School of Education, and the School of Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM).

Students study at the undergraduate and graduate level and the College’s proximity to New York City allows students quick access to endless learning, cultural, internship, and career opportunities. STAC Spartans become an integral part of a diverse community of thinkers and doers, athletes and leaders, researchers, and scholars — the opportunities are limitless.

School of Arts & Social Sciences

The School of Arts and Social Sciences (SASS) offers a broad intellectual foundation in the humanities and social sciences in order to better prepare students for post-collegiate success, lifelong learning, and democratic citizenship.

Our majors strive to develop the fundamental critical thinking and communication skills needed for graduate studies and professional (career) success in a rapidly changing world. Studies show that these skills, which provide numerous and diverse opportunities for professional application, are valued more and more by employers. Through the Office of Career Development, you'll be able to further establish practical preparation and professional readiness for the workplace through workshops, internships, and other experiential learning opportunities.

School of Business

If current trends continue, you will experience a variety of different careers in diverse areas over your lifetime. Our School of Business is just the right opportunity for you!

Our Faculty will work with you to take advantage of these opportunities by developing your general and professional skills. You’ll also gain specific knowledge in accounting, finance, hospitality management, management, marketing, or sport management. Your studies in the School of Business will help prepare you for careers in the business world, not-for-profit service professions, or preparation for graduate school.

School of Education

The School of Education at St. Thomas Aquinas College is recognized for outstanding teacher preparation programs in Art, Early Childhood, Childhood, Special Education, Adolescence, and five-year dual degree programs with Special Education or Literacy, we are committed to your success. Our outstanding faculty, experts in their field, are dedicated to preparing talented teachers ready to meet the needs of all students in today’s classrooms. Undecided about a teaching career, the Educational Studies program will position you to enter professions working with children and young adults in non-classroom settings, and also for graduate studies in social work, school counseling, and other fields related to behavioral science.
