Neerja Chaturvedi is a professor of history at St. Thomas Aquinas College. She earned her Ph.D from Michigan State University, M. Phil from Jawaharlal Nehru University, and B.A. (Hons) from University of Delhi. Her major field of study is colonial and post-colonial history.
Research Interests: Imperialism, History of Modern India, Immigrant History and Globalization, Human Rights.
Co-organizer: St. Thomas Aquinas Faculty Research Retreat.

Current Research: Globalization and its impact on cultures in South Asia. This research includes an examination of changing trends in education and their impact on socio-cultural shifts in India.
