Earn Your Degree with Flexible Course Scheduling
The Master of Public Administration in Criminal Justice degree provides a high-quality education with a personal touch. Earn your 36 credit MPA-CJ in just 6 quarters of full-time study (2 classes per quarter) in just a year and a half. You can also pursue the degree as a part-time student. Our small classes afford maximum flexibility for working professionals, with classes delivered through in-person, remote, online, and hybrid formats.
Combined Degree Programs
Combined degree programs are available that allow students to complete their degree within a year of earning their B.S. degree.
Careers in Criminal Justice Administration
The mission of the MPA-CJ program is to prepare students for careers in public or non-profit administration. The program will enhance graduates’ ability to contribute to their organization and to society at large. It is designed to cultivate the potential and creativity of our students through critical inquiry, communication, and research using select business management concepts as the medium for inquiry in public administration.
After completing the MPA-CJ, students will have the tools to assume or improve their roles in managing criminal justice programs at the public, non-profit, and private levels. Graduates will have the appropriate credentials and perspectives to teach undergraduates in the field of criminal justice. The degree is equally valuable for those in public and non-profit administration in social and human services.
