The School of Business Experiential Learning Program is housed in the student's Spartan Jobs account, under “pathways”. As students progress at STAC, they will see a series of checklists appear in their pathway:
The Experiential Learning checklist offers two categories from which students will complete one or more experiential learning tasks.
- Study Beyond and Real World
- Academic Internship
- Non-academic Internship
- Micro-Internships through the STAC Micro-ship Platform and Reflection
- Approved Cooperative Education Program
- Independent Study
- Approved Real World Experience and Reflection
- Academic Competition with Faculty Mentor/Sponsorship
- Study Abroad
- Academic Class that Incorporates Spring Break Trip
- Approved Skills Certification
- Leadership & Civic Engagement
- Lead a Business or Sport Management Club Event
- Hold a Leadership Role in a STAC Club or Organization
- Hold a Leadership Role in an Outside Organization
- Participate in Service Learning
- Participate in a Volunteer Experience
- Each year, students will be given a list of Career Development Tasks to complete and will be required to attend a minimum of 4 School of Business and Career Development Events.

The Director of Experiential Learning will support School of Business students as they work through the Experiential Learning Program. Students will have the opportunity to join small group check-in sessions to understand their progress towards earning the Experiential Learning Digital Badge, discuss Experiential Learning options and plans (internships, research, competitions) and ask questions.
