The School of Education offers an integrated dual degree program in Education. In this program, candidates earn their initial certification as an undergraduate and receive their BS or BA degree. While still an undergraduate, candidates begin course work in the MSEd program in Special Education and can graduate in a year with their master’s degree. This program enables candidates to earn both undergraduate and graduate degrees in five years at considerable savings of both time and money. These programs are offered:
- Childhood Education and Special Education, Grades 1-6, BS/MSEd
- Mathematics 7-12 and Special Education , BS/MSEd
- Social Sciences 7-12 and Special Education, BS/MSEd
- Spanish 7-12, BS/MSEd
- BA Biology/MST Adolescence Education Certification and Students with Disabilities, Grades 7-12
