Dr. Martinez received his B.S. in Physical Education and Exercise Science, and M.S. in Cardiac Rehabilitation and Exercise Science from Brooklyn College. He then went on to complete his Ph.D. in Exercise Science at the University of Kentucky.
Dr. Martinez teaches KIN 333 Kinesiology.
His research interests include the application of higher performance methodologies in tactical populations, as well as performance analytics.
