Dr. Alberto Vazquez Matos (Spanish & Secondary Education) was recently appointed Deputy Superintendent of Schools for Hartford Public Schools, Hartford, CT.

Laura Montoya-Uribe (Art Therapy) is a bilingual School Counselor at Ossining High School.
Rafael Ortiz(Criminal Justice) was recently promoted to the rank of Sergeant in the NYPD.
Laura Jones Stroud (Communications) was married in 2017.
Joanne Loniewski Favata was recently appointed Director of Alumni Relations at Ramapo College of New Jersey.
Michael Porcelli is a Director of Solution Consulting/Regional Team Lead with Domo, responsible for technical sales support and consulting in the southeastern US, including Florida, Georgia, North Carolina, South Carolina, Alabama, and Mississippi. Domo in the largest provider of Business Analytics and Reporting Management capabilities in the Cloud. Michael currently resides in Sarasota, Florida with his wife of 20 years and two daughters.
Melissa Torres was recently promoted to associate head coach of the Lehman College softball team.
Kelly Campbell founded her own digital marketing agency, Liqui-Site, in 2003, and successfully sold it in September 2016. Most recently, she has been consulting with creative agencies and nonprofits to help them scale. Kelly is excited to announce the launch of a new show, called THRIVE | The Agency Scaler Podcast, which will be available on YouTube, Vimeo, Soundcloud and on her website at klcampbell.com
Verderico Manganiello is a special education and social studies teacher at Eastchester (NY) High School, and an adjunct professor at St. Thomas Aquinas College and Mercy College. He recently published his first children's book, Loud Zoo, a whimsical story that exemplifies the teachings of Lao Tzu, a revered ancient Chinese philosopher and writer.
George Erazo is a Recreation and Facilities Assistant at Iona College. He is happy to announce his engagement to Gina Funaro, class of 2015.
Gina Funaro is an admissions counselor and residence life professional at St. Thomas Aquinas College. She is engaged to George Erazo, class of 2014.
Sr. Carole Valentino has held many administrative positon in the Dept. of Education; teacher, Superintendent of Special Ed., Pupil Personal Director of District 11. Sister Carole retired as a middle school Principle. Currently she is semi-retired and working as an adjunct Professor.
Patricia J. Dugan (Education) recently retired from Warwick Valley Central School District after19 years as a reading specialist. Patricia’s career in Education also included many years teaching 1st & 3rd grades at St. Anthony’s in Nanuet, St. Gregory’s in Garnerville, P.S. 9 Dist. 10 in the Bronx.
Roberta (Hanley) Bourke (Education) became a registered nurse in 2014 and is currently employed by Good Samaritan Hospital in Suffern, N.Y.
William Barbera (B.S., Criminal Justice) William is the Chief of Police for the Sheriff’s Office in Rockland County, NY, and adjunct professor at STAC and Dominican Colleges. He co-chairs the Rockland County Traffic Safety Board and is a graduate of the FBI National Academy. Mr. Barbera has been with the Sheriff’s Office for the past 33 years!
Mr. Robert Good (B.S. MBA; Criminal Justice), came to campus this Spring to participate in the 1st Annual Alumni Connection. Robert is a Vice President at Goldman Sachs in the Asset Management Operation Division. He shared how he got to where he is, his role is at Goldman and gave amazing advice and insight throughout the presentation Thank you to Mr. Good for his time and efforts coming back to his Alma Mater and for making our 1st Annual Alumni Connection program a success!
Cinnamon Green (B.A., Elementary Education) recently completed her Doctorate in Philosophy. Dr. Green is currently a teacher in the Merrick Union Free School District in Merrick, NY. She spent her early years as a teacher in the NYC Dept. of Education.
Dr. Alberto Vazquez (B.A., Spanish & Secondary Education) received the honor of the Latino Administrator of the Year Award for his commitment and work with students and the Latino community. Dr. Vazquez joined Hillsborough County Public Schools in July, 2015 as the Chief of Staff.
John W. McGowan (B.A., History), has joined the firm Bleakley Platt as a litigation associate. . Prior to joining the firm, Mr. McGowan served as a Senior Assistant District Attorney with the Rockland County District Attorney’s Office, and prior to that, he was an Assistant District Attorney in Bronx County, New York. Since 2013, Mr. McGowan has been an adjunct professor at St. Thomas Aquinas College, where he teaches undergraduate courses in criminal law and evidence.
Danielle Young, (B.A., Communication Arts) received her MBA in Marketing in May, 2017.
Melissa Packowski (B.A., Education), is a registered Behavior Therapist working at an ABA based day program for adults with autism, teaching work skills and daily living skills. She is also a registered Behavior Technician and works with children with autism. She credits STAC with helping her where she is today.
Kimberly A. Cunningham is currently working as an Assistant Teacher at The Learning Experience. She is pursuing a Master’s Degree in Early Childhood & Special Education.
