Earth Day 2023

We invite everyone from the STAC community and beyond to celebrate Earth Day 2023 with us! The local community, conservationists, outdoor enthusiasts, and eco-warriors of all ages are welcome. At St Thomas Aquinas College, we commit sincerely to sustainability, the environment, and respecting our planet. 

MUSIC, FOOD, BEVERAGES, VENDORS, FAMILY FUN!

We have designed four different spaces at the event, with a little something for everyone, be sure to look up each space to see what's happening.

• Discovery World - full of local environmental organizations, sustainability projects, and local sustainably-minded vendors.
• Flora and Fauna - an area with nature-themed activities and a chance to learn more about local wildlife.
• Tinkerland - features hands-on activities such as building insect hotels and planting trees.
• The Pantry - touch, taste, and see locally sourced produce and enjoy food and beverage from local vendors.

Vendor Applications must be received no later than April 15, 2023.

We are proud to announce that this is a student-led and organized event. Students from the School of Business and the School of Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) are collaborating to provide this event for our community. Our students are increasingly aware of environmental issues, such as the effects of plastic waste, threats to water quality and availability, global climate change, and associated extreme weather events.

Please join us to celebrate our planet, learn about sustainability, connect with local environmental organizations, participate in fun nature and science activities, and enjoy a fun day with family, friends, and community!
