FAFSA Renewal 2021-22 Virtual Workshop

Get one-on-one assistance completing the 2021-22 FAFSA for next year. Applying for financial aid requires the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) form. The FAFSA process provides a College with the results in the calculation of your EFC (Expected Family Contribution). Your EFC is the amount of money that the federal government believes your family can contribute to your education.

Remember to have the following available:

  1. Student and Parent FSA ID.
  2. Parent and/or Student 2019 tax returns, and W’s.
  3. Social Security Cards
  4. Drivers licenses (optional)

Important FAFSA Tips to remember:

  1. Apply early to avoid running into issues and deadlines. 
  2. Clear your working area and have all the required documents ready. For example, your FSA ID. 
  3. Use the IRS Data Retrieval tool to simplify the process, avoid errors, and lessen your chances of getting chosen for verification.
