Long Night Against Procrastination

Monday, Dec 02, 2019 4:00pm to 9:00pm America/New_York 2019-12-02 16:00:00 2019-12-02 21:00:00 Long Night Against Procrastination

Please join us at the Long Night Against Procrastination on Monday, Dec. 2, anytime from 4 pm-9 pm in the Library Reading Room.

This semester, the Write-In is getting a re-branding of sorts. It will now be the Long Night Against Procrastination, offering to tutor not just writing, but all subjects.

The International Write-In is an event in which a group of over 100 colleges and universities across the world set aside time during the week of December 2 to give students a supportive space to get work done and remind them that they are not alone.

Writing tutors will be available throughout the night, but subject tutors have scheduled availability, ranging from two to four hours. These tutors will be stationed in the study rooms off the reading room, and students are welcome to bring questions during those times. Please see the attached flyer for the schedule.

As always, students will be asked to sign in. However, if you would like to keep track of your class specifically -- say, to give extra credit -- please do let me know. Also, if there are any handouts that might be helpful for us/our tutors to have on hand, send them along. For example, I will have MLA/APA "cheat sheets" available.
