STAC "Happy Fleet" Car Parade for a Good Cause

Sunday, Dec 05, 2021 1:00pm to 2:00pm America/New_York 2021-12-05 13:00:00 2021-12-05 14:00:00 STAC "Happy Fleet" Car Parade for a Good Cause STAC Communication Arts students will lead a police-escorted “Happy Fleet” car parade on Sunday, December 5, at 1:00 PM to raise awareness for the not-for-profit Penguin Plunge of Nyack, as part of a semester-long public relations service-learning project. 

STAC students are working hard with the Penguin Plunge of Nyack to coordinate the “Happy Fleet” and support the fundraising efforts for this year’s two seriously ill “penguins” (recipients) 5-year-old Teagan Walsh and 2-year-old Jhenaé Fairclough. 

The “Happy Fleet” is open to all and will convene in the STAC parking lot off King’s Highway in Sparkill behind the Lougheed Library at 1:00 PM for car decorating.
