St. Thomas Aquinas College Hosts First Memorial Mass

The St. Thomas Aquinas community gathered together on Thursday, January 26 for our first-ever Memorial Mass. The powerful and moving event held at the Sacred Heart Chapel, brought the community together in remembrance and celebration, including students, employees, alumni, Trustees, and our founding Dominican Sisters.

“It was my honor to recognize, remember, and celebrate the lives lost within our St. Thomas Aquinas College community,” said St. Thomas Aquinas College President Ken Daly. “I lost both of my parents these past few years, while so many members of our community also lost their loved ones. So, I promised that we would host a Mass here on campus and was honored to remember all members of the STAC community together.

The event was part of a weeklong schedule of events, honoring the January 28 Feast Day of St. Thomas Aquinas, including a Mission Moment, Bingo, Donor Wall unveiling, and campus reception. Organized by the Institutional Advancement Office, events included many ways for students, employees, alumni, and friends to get together and demonstrate their commitment to the St. Thomas Aquinas College mission.
