STAC Becomes a Bloomberg Experiential Learning Program Partner

St. Thomas Aquinas College is proud to announce its participation in the Bloomberg Experiential Learning Partner (ELP) Program. This prestigious partnership is only awarded to colleges and universities that have developed courses that integrate Bloomberg Terminal data and tools, the same ones used by the world’s leading business and financial professionals.

Rossen Trendafilov, Assistant Professor of Finance commented, "This is an excellent outcome and makes me very proud. It required a team effort in support of our students to achieve this accomplishment, and our hard work paid off!”. In STAC’s Bloomberg Professional Lab, students learn from dedicated faculty who have been trained by Bloomberg professionals, using state-of-the-art technology. Students are provided with the same Bloomberg Terminal for news, data, analytics, and research used by the world’s leading banks, corporations, government agencies, and public policymakers, law firms, libraries, energy companies, and media outlets. The educational tools in the Bloomberg Laboratory allow access to global data in milliseconds, and our students learn how to analyze financial markets, assess economic scenarios, and interpret the key news developments that affect the global economy.

About the Bloomberg Experiential Learning Program:
The Bloomberg Experiential Learning Partner (ELP) Program recognizes and celebrates academic institutions that are leaders in experiential learning through the integration of Bloomberg Terminal exercises into their curricula. Through this ELP Program, Bloomberg brings together a community of peer universities and professors that provide their students with innovative courses to build their financial market awareness and career readiness.
