Where can a liberal arts degree take you? Everywhere. That’s because the liberal arts don’t narrowly train you to do one job; they train you to creatively and collaboratively work across disciplines to solve complex workplace problems. They also teach you to think critically, to speak clearly, and communicate effectively—skills needed in every field.
As a liberal arts and sciences major at STAC, you’ll take a healthy dose of humanities courses (think English, literature, philosophy, communication arts and foreign languages), as well as selections in science, math, political science, and religious studies. It all combines to ensure that you are an informed citizen who can make a real difference in the world.
A liberal arts degree leads to any career that is dependent upon employees who can think and work across disciplines. (That’s nearly every career.) Many of our graduates pursue advanced degrees in education, business, law, medical and health sciences, and psychology.
