The 2022-2023 FAFSA is open! You can now use 2020 income taxes to fill out the FAFSA (Free Application For Federal Student Aid). Student financial aid starts with the FAFSA form, and in order to apply for federal aid eligibility, you must file the FAFSA.
We understand the process can be overwhelming, which is why our team will be available to answer questions regarding financial aid and the FAFSA form.
St. Thomas Aquinas College is offering virtual FAFSA Completion Events which you can attend from the comfort of your home and we'll help guide you and your family through the process.
- Thursday, February 3, 2022, from 5:30 PM to 7:30 PM
- Tuesday, February 8, 2022, from 5:30 PM to 7:30 PM
- Thursday, February 10, 2022, (En Español) from 5:30 PM to 7:30 PM
The FAFSA form is available to students and parents to complete through the myStudentAid mobile app and the fafsa.gov website.
FSA ID information, tips, answers to questions, and a link to create an FSA ID are available at StudentAid.gov/fsaid.

In the effort to manage social distancing, while still striving to provide our students and families with excellent customer service, the Office of Financial Aid is pleased to announce we are implementing a new appointment scheduling procedure.

We received a large number of applications for the additional, emergency CARES Act Funding. At this time we are reviewing all of the applications and further information will be forthcoming.

CARES ACT: HIGHER EDUCATION & STUDENT LOAN DEBT
As you may have heard, the recently signed Cares Act provides broad relief for federal student loan borrowers including an administrative forbearance which will provide many relief from payments as well as accruing interest.

HESC NYS DREAM ACT
The DREAM Act opens the doors of higher education to thousands of students, providing access to the new Excelsior Scholarship, the Tuition Assistance Program, as well as other state‐administered scholarships that were not previously available to them.
