Career Development

Our goal is to challenge students to grow professionally and intellectually by providing a variety of educational services.

St. Thomas Aquinas College is invested in you as a student and as a professional. The Office of Career Development is available from your first day as a freshman through graduation, and beyond. Our alumni continue to utilize the resources provided for personal career advancement and to fill positions within their companies. The STAC alumni network is a valuable asset for internships and job placement.

The Office of Career Development is an integral part of the educational process, assisting our diverse students and alumni population in developing self-assessment, decision-making, and job search skills that are essential for life-long career and professional development. The Office serves the college community and employers by linking academics and the world of work.

We are NOT a placement office. We educate students about the career planning process and teach them the necessary skills to conduct their own successful search.

The STAC Skills Immersion Program is a 4-day, interactive, professional development program designed to provide key insights for your post-graduation job search. Through this program, you will develop your professional brand, learn search strategies, networking approaches, interview skills, and much more. Further, you will learn these things while working in small teams to prepare and present a profile of a company from Fortune's 100 Best Companies to Work For.

The STAC Skills Immersion Program is offered during the Summer and Winter terms. Students and recent alumni who successfully complete the program will earn a certificate of completion. Reach out to Shannon Hargrove, Director of Experiential Learning at [email protected] for more information.
